The L7 Luxury Lodge is located in the heart of the Lappish wilderness bordering the Pallas-Yllȧs National Park, only 6km away from the village of Ȧkȧslompolo and the ski resort of Yllȧs.  You will have a full array of adventurous activities to choose from while you are there.  We have included a full day of snowmobiling, driving out to the Snow Village at Lainio; as well as the opportunity to mush your own team of huskies.  You will also have some free time for cross-country skiing or snowshoeing to the nearby village or alternatively for relaxing by the fire or large outdoor jacuzzi.

DAY 1

Fly to Kittila in Finnish Lapland (via Helsinki) and transfer to the L7 Luxury Lodge where you will be met by your host with a welcome drink before enjoying some free time to explore or to relax in the Jacuzzi before dinner.

DAY 2

Your adventure begins in earnest today as you head out to the Lusou Husky Camp to meet the resident team of eager dogs. Then, after some training, you’ll go out on a thrilling ride through the wilderness, racing through frozen forests on a network of trails that bring you right into one of Finnish Lapland’s most beautiful regions. You’ll have the chance to mush and steer your team yourself, and then enjoy hot drinks and warm snacks by the fire before returning to the lodge for lunch and afternoon tea. Spend the rest of the day relaxing before dinner.

DAY 3

Today you head out for a full day snowmobile adventure. Drive your own snowmobile through snow laden forest trails to Lainio and explore its Snow Village followed by a Lappish lunch.  Return to the L7 Luxury Lodge for a soothing sauna or Jacuzzi followed by dinner and a chance to talk with your fellow guests about the day’s adventures.

DAY 4

Today you have a free day to explore by cross-country skis or snowshoes in the beautiful Lapland wilderness.  Walk or ski the6km to the nearest village of Ȧkȧslompolo before returning for lunch and relaxing at the lodge.  Alternatively, you can book an additional excursion in the afternoon and then enjoy a final dinner.

DAY 5 UK

After breakfast transfer to the airport in time for your return flight back to the UK.

This stunning Finnish log house has undergone a recent transformation and now provides a luxurious experience for just 14 guests. The L7 Luxury Lodge boasts just 7 rooms; 5 suites offering direct access to the main guest areas within the main lodge, whilst a further 2 suites are available with their own outdoor access. Each Nordic styled room with timber walls and wooden floors has its own living area as well as beautiful views of the Lappish countryside.  At the heart of the lodge is a large living room, the perfect place to meet your fellow guests or simply unwind and relax in front of the huge stone fireplace.
