Just a quick note to say we had a wonderful trip to Nellim and to thank you for your efforts. Everything went very smoothly; we were extremely well looked after and the trip of a lifetime met everyone's expectations. We will definitely recommend you to others.
The staff at Wilderness Lodge were professional, knowledgeable and very helpful. Every outing added something extra to the whole experience. Even the mishaps which included an overturned skidoo and losing a driver off the back of a husky sled just added to the sense of adventure. The staff told us they hadn't seen a party laugh so much and have such infectious enthusiasm. The food was above expectation especially the open fire lunches and the clothing provided was very welcome and efficiently done. We had such a great time that it wouldn't have mattered if the Aurora had failed to show but it came out almost every night and you would have been proud of our snow angels as we watched in awe! "My wife, daughter (9), son (6) and I travelled to Nellim the week before Christmas in 2011. If you are looking for a personal touch, complete wilderness, basic but comfortable accommodation and home cooked food then Nellim is your place. The staff are very accommodating, the activities are better than the brochure describes - driving a pack of huskies across a frozen lake and snowmobiling through the forest were highlights for us. The kids loved the husky puppies, sledging, learning to cross country ski and ice fishing.The main event, meeting Santa, was magical. Whisked off on skidoo, just the 4 of us, to find him. First 2 houses no joy but a knock on the door on the third delivered. We spent nearly 20 minutes chatting to him before heading back across the lake. If you want an uncommercial, well organised and personal experience then you can do no better than Nellim with Nordic Experience".
