A stylish modern hotel with an exterior sympathetically in keeping with the surrounding clapboard buildings. It is located in a quiet enclave in the heart of the old city close to restaurants and shops. During construction of the property the remains of a Viking longhouse from the Settlement period, along with Iceland’s oldest human remains, were found.
